Recently, the 2021 Marine Science and Technology Award project organization recommendation work has been launched, mainly for those who have made outstanding contributions to marine science and technology research and achievement transformation in the fields of marine environmental protection, integrated marine management, marine resource development and utilization, and sustainable development of marine economy and society. Rewards will be given for scientific and technological achievements, which mainly include "marine science and technology research" and "marine science and technology achievements transformation" for recommendation.
Recently, the 2021 Marine Science and Technology Award Review Committee meeting and project review meeting were held. After review by 49 experts, a total of 22 results were selected into the marine science and technology research category and 21 results were selected into the marine science and technology achievement transformation category. Among them, there are 3 special prizes, 8 first prizes, and 11 second prizes in the marine science and technology research category; 21 proposed results in the marine science and technology achievement transformation category, including 6 first prizes and 15 second prizes.
Specifically, the "Excavation and Development of Marine Medicinal Biological Resources" project jointly completed by Ocean University of China, China Ocean Development Research Center, Sun Yat-sen University, Shenzhen University and other units won the Ocean The science and technology research category is expected to win the special prize.
